It is the same as the one resoundingly refused, except a change of colour.All that has happened is that Parry has changed the colour from blue to beige, and the committee had a closed meeting at which developers were allowed to present facts , unchallanged (and to add to the pressure, Geoff Webber was acting as cheerleader for the project - as he has done since this whole calamity began).The committee was showing signs of being able to protect The City from damaging developments. It seems that, for all the years of careful planning and fastidious study, the Holburne’s development team didn’t quite do their homework properly. An assumption was made about something as fundamental as the installation of air conditioning plant. Now they are faced with the embarrassing and expensive process of re-submitting the whole planning application!The question that begs an answer is :What other assumptions have been made which could jeopardise the development?At least this oversight was discovered, before the demolition and building work had begun.It gives us the opportunity voice our concerns again.Holburne's Planning Application (http://www.bathnes.gov.uk/BathNES/environmentandplanning/majordevelopments/Holburne+Museum.htm)The independently run Holburne already needed a £200,000 of council money (that’s our money) to kick-start the release of private donations capital.
